The Gift of Sight: A Lesson in Perspective
A 24-year-old man gazed out of the train window and exclaimed, "Dad, see how the trees are disappearing behind us!" His father smiled, while a young couple nearby observed the man's behavior towards his father with pity. Suddenly, he cried out again, "Dad, look! The clouds are racing alongside us!" Unable to hold back, the couple turned to the older man and suggested, "Why don't you seek medical help for your son?" The elderly man smiled gently and replied, "We've just left the hospital. My son has been blind since birth, and today he gained his sight."
The moral of the story: "Don't rush to judge others, as you may not know their full story. Otherwise, you may find yourself embarrassed in front of the world."
